The silver bell has less coloration tighter and more pronounced bass and really sweet breakup.

For what it s worth i had fanes greenbacks blue alnicos silver alnicos v30 s in this thing and settled on the silver bell.
All of these are great speakers.
Seems like most players opt for a ceramic silver bell instead of the alnico why is this.
But something was missing.
Or a pair of each in a 4 12.
